De LitruCS2 is een cortenstalen brievenbus met zwarte voorplaat, met een afsluitbare deur aan de achterzijde. De brievenbus heeft een strak design dat zowel bij een moderne als klassieke woning past. De afmetingen van de brievenbus bedragen 30 x 40 x 100 cm (LxBxH) en weegt 25 kg.

Plaatsing
De LitruCS2 is voorzien van een losse bodemplaat met 4 bevestigingsgaten. Deze gaten hebben een diameter van 12mm en staan op 20 cm van elkaar. Je bevestigt de bodemplaat op een betonnen sokkel. Vervolgens zet je de brievenbus erover en kun je hem met bouten aan de zijkanten vastschroeven. De laatste bouten worden meegeleverd.
Cortenstaal
Cortenstaal is een zeer sterk type staal die zich bij blootstelling aan de buitenlucht met een beschermende roestlaag gaat bedekken. Deze roestlaag vormt de bescherming tegen verdere corrosie. Kenmerkend voor cortenstaal is de bruinoranje roestkleur en de lange levensduur.
Roestproces
Cortenstaal is een zeer sterke staalsoort die zichzelf bedekt met een beschermende laag roest wanneer het aan de buitenlucht wordt blootgesteld. De brievenbus wordt altijd ongeroest geleverd en krijgt zijn mooie roestkleur/-laag als hij buiten staat. Dit proces duurt ongeveer 6 tot 12 maanden. Dit proces kan worden versneld tot 2 weken door de roestversneller te gebruiken. De roestversneller is terug te vinden onderaan deze pagina bij slim combineren.
Nadat hij volledig geroest is adviseren wij ook altijd om een roestfixeerder aan te brengen. Dit zorgt ervoor dat het roestproces stopt en hierdoor zal er ook geen roestwater van de brievenbus afkomen. De roestfixeerder is ook terug te vinden onderaan deze pagina bij slim combineren.
